eviivo Awards 2019

Hidden Gem USA

The eviivo Awards is the industry event for independent accommodation, and for the first time this year we are looking for a Hidden Gem winner from the USA.

The Hidden Gem USA Award is for brilliant businesses that leave all their guests demanding an encore (after all Diamonds are Forever…). Our decision will be based on a combination of indicators (performance online, guest reviews, etc.) and information from the property about what makes them unique. We ask properties to tell us their story, about why they should be a winner and what makes them unique and special, the kind of place that once people find them, they never want to leave.

The awards are open to the entire independent accommodation sector – whether you run or own a two-room guest house, seaside inn, or portfolio of self-catering units. And we will fly the winner over to the UK so they can attend eviivo Awards night to collect their award, this year taking place at the Grand Connaught Rooms, London, England. To follow are this year’s inaugural shortlisted properties.

Hidden Gem USA Award judging criteria

  • We will use data about the property’s performance online and review scores to decide.
