Great hosting, an attractive property and an excellent breakfast are vital to a B&B’s success – and so is a Goldeneye for detail. But nice furniture and food won’t cut it for everyone – some guests are looking for an experience beyond the ordinary guest house stay. The Bed, Breakfast & Beyond Award honours the property offering the best extra or add-on for their guests to a night’s stay and a tasty breakfast. This could be anything from an exceptional restaurant, a wonderful garden, onsite activities, or leisure facilities such as a pool, hot-tub or gym – the things that make staying at a property so much more than just the bed and the breakfast.

- Judges will look at the type, extent and impact of the extra/s, and their effect of enhancing guests’ stays.
- The extra/s will make the property stand out from the rest.
- We would like to know the inspiration behind the additional extra/s.
- The additional extra/s may be a main reason why guests choose to stay at the property.
